“A religion that is pure and stainless according to God the Father is this: to take care of orphans and widows who are suffering and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”
James 1:27

Brief Testimony of the Founder President

Tushar Manna
(B.Th, B.D, B.Sc, M.Th, D. Min)

Being born and brought up in a Hindu family in the Hooghly district of West Bengal, I had never heard about Jesus during my childhood years. In 1976, when I was in grade IX, I found an advertisement in the newspaper about Jesus Christ and I wrote a post card for a NT. I became extremely happy when I received the NT and some gospel portions by post. I kept these books hidden among my school books and began reading them. I was deeply touched by the life and teachings of Jesus. I was excited when I got the full Bible. I read the entire Bible within a very short period and came to know about the true God. I came to know that Jesus died for our sins on the cross. John 3:16 had a direct impact on my life. In December 1979, during a prayer meeting, God’s Spirit led me to brokenness and confessing my sins. In that meeting, I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. I became a new person.
