“A religion that is pure and stainless according to God the Father is this: to take care of orphans and widows who are suffering and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”
James 1:27

Manna Mission Institute Graduation 2017

Diploma in Biblical Studies and Missions

Biblical and Mission Studies for the indigenous ministry workers, village pastors, evangelists and women leaders is one of the major needs of the hour in West Bengal. Since the churches are growing all over, it is necessary that the village pastors and ministry leaders are equipped with the Word of God. To overcome the language barrier, we conduct the training in Bengali. To learn the Word of God is the goal of this training. It helps the trainees in their own transformation and prepares them for successful strategic ministry. The participants find God’s will, his direction, encouragement, inspiration and knowledge as they read and go through the entire Bible.

At present, Manna Mission is running this course at two locations in West Bengal. 150 hours of classroom teaching and 150 hours of home work across two years is the curriculum for Diploma in Biblical Studies and Missions. All the trainees should be involved in the ministry. We are planning to start this Bible training in another two new locations so that the local mission/church workers can have the privilege to learn.

Manna Mission Institute's first graduation took place in Haldia on December 25, 2017. Diplomas in Biblical Studies and Missions were awarded to 10 students on this day. They went through 150 hours of classroom teaching and did 150 hours of home work during past two years. 150 people attended the graduation programme. It was a joyful occasion. All the graduating students are involved in mission work. It was interesting and moving to hear how God molded each trainee's lives during this course. Some of them became very emotional while they shared their testimonies.
